Since 2020, MOIC has been a Knowledge Provider for Invest Northern Ireland. This role enables small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and potential entrepreneurs to collaborate with MOIC, accessing expertise and skills to drive their innovation projects. Support is delivered through £5k innovation Vouchers with the objective of boosting innovation among SMEs across Northern Ireland by providing tailored knowledge and support.

Example Project:

AI-Powered Medication Reminder System MOIC partnered with an SME to explore the use of artificial intelligence in enhancing medicines adherence.

• Focus: Knowledge sharing and functionality testing.
• Activities: Two knowledge-sharing workshops, database review functionality testing, feedback collection and summary report.
• Governance: Contracting and project oversight.

This project exemplifies how MOIC empowers SMEs to innovate, delivering practical solutions through collaboration.
