MOIC has been actively sharing expertise and building new partnerships through participation in a range of national and international conferences in recent months. MOIC colleagues attended several high-profile events, including TMED11, the International Conference on Communication in Healthcare (ICCH), the 8th Congress of Pharmacy in North Macedonia, the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP) Autumn Symposium 2026, and NICON 2026. These events provided opportunities to showcase MOIC’s work, contribute to international discussions on medicines optimisation and clinical pharmacy, and learn from healthcare experts across the world.

Among the highlights, Anita Hogg delivered presentations and workshops on innovative clinical pharmacy services and medicines optimisation, while Dr Glenda Fleming represented MOIC at key healthcare innovation events, including the launch of the RESPOND Project at NICON 2026. MOIC also supported the Fourth All-Island Collaboration: A Multidisciplinary Approach to Antimicrobial Stewardship Conference, reinforcing its commitment to improving patient outcomes through collaboration and research.

By taking part in these conferences, MOIC continues to strengthen its reputation as a leader in medicines optimisation, sharing knowledge, developing partnerships and helping to shape the future of healthcare locally, nationally and internationally.
